For this child I prayed,

and the LORD has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.

What an amazing week we have had!!! I don't want to let go of it... it has been so completely filled with all things good and beautiful! I would start over at Sunday night sitting around the fire pit in the back yard with Nana, Papa, KK, Pop Pop, my loving groom, two amazing children, and my big belly embracing what is so dear to me now... i would start there, where we sang fun songs, ate dinner, announced our little one's name, and enjoyed such sweet times with family... and i would, yes, go back into surgery Monday morning to experience the wonder and glory of feeling, watching, and holding a miracle. Then I would embrace every first moment again... first breath, first cry, first blanket bundle, first feeding, first time big brother and sister saw him, first EVERYTHING... i am clenching these very brief, very incredible moments with all i have! My sweet Chicago sister emailed me and and the last thing she said was "this sort of thing makes me love Him"... HIM! the Him who IS all of this glory, all that is and has been embracing us over the last 4 days... I can not think of a better statement to be able to relay to our little one when he is older... that his birth, his sweet little self made someone love Jesus more!!! That thrills my soul and put beautiful words to where my heart remains! This little guy has already blessed our family immeasurably... thank you so much to all who have prayed for us, for his arrival, for our journey. We are truly grateful for our family of friends who have stood by our side and loved us through. This little boy is a joy, such a sweet blessing... a constant reminder of our Creator and loving Father! We are overwhelmed by God's goodness and look forward to sharing this little gift with you all!!!
